I’ve decided that I’m a people person. I’m the type that loves to go to gatherings of new people, getting involved in conversations where you get to know them, learning and growing from their life’s experiences. I’m excited with the opportunity to get to know the new neighbor as they move in down the street. In fact, this past year has been an exciting expedition getting to know the people in my church, community, and my neighborhood.
Someone once said that, “Following Jesus is living life and embracing more of it together with others.” I love being a follower of Christ, but I love it more following Christ together in community with others.
Look how the Message bible describes the benefits of living in community with each other.“By yourself you’re unprotected. With a friend you face the worst. Can you round up a third? A three-stranded rope isn't easily snapped."
Growing in Christ is what we are designed to do. Growing together makes you stronger!
