New LIFE Weekly 7.24.07

SERMONS SEEDS
“Wasn’t last Sunday’s baptism service just awesome?” On Sunday, we heard from 7 individuals who shared publicly of how their lives have been touched and transformed by the love of Jesus Christ. I don’t know about you, but I love to hear stories of lives that have been transformed by God’s unconditional love.
Someone once said that Baptism is all about “an outward expression of an inward experience.” I like that phrase because it challenges me in my everyday walk to daily live out my baptism experience by sharing with others my “inward experience” of what Christ did for me. If you’ve surrendered your life to Christ, you have a story to tell.
Let me encourage you to not keep this story to yourself, but to daily look for opportunities to share your life-changing story with others. Who knows, your story just may change someone else’s life!

*A special thanks goes out to Tom and Tracy Hendra for allowing us to use their pool for the baptism service.

CHURCH PICNIC – Hey Team, I would like to thank all of those who helped with the church picnic last Sunday. Everyone had a fantastic time!

Upcoming Missionary Sunday’s

July 29th – This Sunday, Kim and Shari Babcock, missionaries from Argentina will be ministering to New Life. I worked with Kim and Shari in Argentina a few years ago and were very blessed by their passion to reach the lost. You will be blessed tremendously in this service!

August 5th – Sorry! We have just received word last week that the team from Trinidad is not able to join us as they were unable to obtain visas to enter the US. However, we will be blessed to have Tom and Wendy Fellner, who are involved in a church-planting project in Colorado, who will share their heart and vision with us on this morning.

August 19th – Ron & Gloria Hanson, missionaries for the Africa Oasis Project will be ministering to us in this service. We look forward to celebrating with them what God was able to do through our church this past Spring.

TO THINK ABOUT

"I might believe in the Redeemer if His followers looked more Redeemed."
