OUT OF NOWHERE!
If you haven’t heard the news yet, there was a minor car accident at the church last Saturday, Oct. 13th. In fact, it was a car accident INTO the church. Praise God, no one was seriously hurt, nor was there serious damage to the building.
Sometimes life can be like that! Our lives can become so structured and routine that every day becomes the “same ole”. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing really wrong with this. But, my question is, “Is your life structured so that when those difficult life-circumstances come out of nowhere (and they will), your life goes to pieces?” If you ask me, the key is your foundation!
Check out Matt. 7:24-27! Jesus tells us that in life, storms, difficulties, trials will come out of nowhere. All of is, in one way, shape or form are going to be hit from nowhere. He goes on to tell us that if your life is based on anything else other than Christ, that’s foolish, and you’re heading for a crash. God did not create us to be self-sustained! We need Him in our lives! More than that, we need Him to be our foundation. Because when we are in Christ, we are founded on a ROCK! And when the storms of life come out of nowhere, WE CAN STAND STRONG!
