NLCF OASIS CHALLENGE
Hey Team! The challenge before is huge! Yet, God has already shown himself to us in many ways with the Green Bay Gazette article (Wow, on the front page!), and an up and coming news story on CBS channel 5. I am convinced that God is going to help us to reach our goal of $26,000, but I believe it is going to have to start with us. You see, whenever you attempt to do something great for God, it often takes a sacrifice from the participant. The Bible gives us many illustrations of when God responded to the obedience and sacrifice of people.
Therefore, I am putting out the challenge for New Life to take one more step of faith and sacrificially give to pay for the first well ($5,000) ourselves. For the next few services leading up to the Marathon, we are going to be taking an African Oasis offering to pay for the first well. This money should not come from the people that you’ve already received sponsorship from, but from our own pockets. Will you please pray about this and take this challenge with me?
AFRICA OASIS MARATHON T-SHIRTS
We will be ordering T-shirts for the Africa Oasis Project. If you would like a t-shirt, please put your order in at the AOP table. There will be a $6 suggested donation that can be paid when they arrive.
WAFFLE/PANCAKE MIX FOR SALE 
NLCF has received a generous donation of Carbon’s Golden Malted pancake & waffle mix from a local business owner to sell for the Africa Oasis Project. The mix sells for $4 per 1lb. can and ALL PROCEEDS go toward AOP. You can purchase these cans of mix at the AOP table in the foyer.
NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER
Please set aside a time tomorrow, Thursday, May3rd, the National Day of Prayer to pray for God to touch our nation.
“…if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chron. 7:14)

-Hey Guys! – Meet at the Nicolet restaurant in West Depere for breakfast this Saturday, May 5th at 8:30am.
SATURDAY NIGHT SERVICE/SPAGHETTI DINNER
-Due to the participation in the Green Bay Marathon, our weekend service will be held on Saturday, May 19th at 6:0pm. Come early for the free Spaghetti dinner at 4:30pm. See you there!
LEADERSHIP TEAM –For all leaders who would like to purchase a “Vision of the Leader” workbook, the cost is $5. Please turn your money in no later than Wednesday, May 23rd.
